On August 8, 2020 Grenon was a featured artist on WMUR-TV’s NH Chronicle Summer Songfest here in New Hampshire. Here is the video they played on air… debuting our new bass player RJ Wood.
Grenon’s “Imaginary Friends” was named a semi-finalist in Music City Song Star songwriting competition.
From the email:
Congratulations!! We are so excited to let you know that you were one of the semi-finalists out of thousands of entries in the Music City SongStar Fall 2019 contest!! Yay! We loved your song and are so thankful you submitted it!
New Hampshire punks pop-rockers Grenon, led by and named after singer Kacie Grenon, have already seen two nominations at this year’s Limelight Music Awards (for Young Performer of the Year and Video of the Year), and they recently dropped the “Imaginary Friends” tune. Things are going well, everything considered. The blend of quirky, energetic rock and Kacie’s emotive vocals works beautifully. They’re live streaming this week so see for yourself.
On May 17, 2020 Indie Rock Cafe included Grenon’s “Imaginary Friends'“ on their 5-song 2020 Indie Songs Playlist along with the newest single from Radiohead’s Ed Obrien (what??).

In "Imaginary Friends" GRENON surpasses all expectations with catchy song-writing and a knock-out performance. GRENON just could be the breakout stars of 2020. And to think, it all started with a bunch of teens with bottled up feelings in the middle of nowhere in New Hampshire. Major record labels - take notice.
